The short version
AMP Events and Lighting is a wedding and event DJ, MC, and lighting company in Houston, TX and surrounding areas, owned and run by DJ AMP since 2019. We cover weddings, quinceañeras and Sweet 16s, corporate events and galas, school dances and proms, and private parties, and every event is tailored to the client's vision so all the planning has payoff and you get to enjoy your own party. Every event follows the AMP Method: a quick call to align on your vision, an online planner to map the timeline and music with your other vendors, and a performance built around your guests, not the DJ.
Every package includes a DJ and MC from the same person, a wireless mic for toasts and announcements, dance floor lighting, an online planner, and setup and breakdown. Uplighting, a custom monogram, an audio guestbook, Dancing on a Cloud, a photo booth, and dance floors can be added to any package, any time before the event.
Wedding packages run $1,500 to $2,500 for five hours, company and private parties are $1,200, school dances are $900, and galas and proms start at $1,500. Planning starts with a quick Zoom or phone call, a $200 deposit holds your date, and the balance is due 30 days before the event. Announcements in English and Spanish are available. We work anywhere within 100 miles of Houston with no travel fee, including Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, Pearland, The Woodlands, Conroe, and Galveston.
