The short version
I'm DJ AMP, DJ and owner of AMP Events and Lighting, a DJ and entertainment company in Houston, TX and surrounding areas that doesn't just press play; we tailor our clients' weddings, quinceañeras, and corporate events to their vision so all the planning has payoff and they can enjoy their event without worry.
I started the company in 2019 and grew up around DJs. Every event follows the AMP Method: Align, a quick call where we listen and you leave with a quote; Map, your questionnaire, timeline, must-plays, and do-not-play list, shared with your planner, venue, photographer, and videographer; and Perform, MC work with class, reading the room, and every key moment on camera. When a night needs more than one DJ, it only goes to DJs we know and trust to deliver the AMP standard. Announcements in English and Spanish are available.
